To mark the closing, Robert Matijasic, a professor at the Pula
Faculty of Philosophy, held a lecture on the influence of Roman
administration on the development of economy in Istria.
The exhibition, called "Magical Istria - Past to Present", was
staged by the Paris-based Croatian Mission to the UNESCO and the
Pula Museum of Archaeology.
Closing the show, Croatia's Ambassador to Portugal Darko Bekic on
behalf of the organisers thanked Portugal on the hospitality and
permanent interest in Croatian subjects.
Two exhibitions on Croatia's cultural heritage were held at the
Lisbon National Museum of Archaeology in the past two years.
