LJUBLJANA, Mar 12 (Hina) - The mayors of all Slovene municipalities bordering with Croatia will convene in Catez, Slovenia, on Monday to discuss a local border agreement which the Slovene parliament has not yet ratified despite its
signing of three years ago. The meeting has been convened by the Slovene-Croatian Friendship Society with the aim of exerting additional pressure on the Slovene parliament to finally ratify and start applying the agreement which would make life easier for almost 500,000 people living on both sides of the Croatian-Slovene border. The friendship society maintains Slovenia's parliament must ratify the agreement now that Croatia has a new government, thus making a step of good will which would facilitate the settlement of other issues.(hina) ha
