ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - Former senior officials of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) Mate Granic and Vesna Skare-Ozbolt at Thursday's press conference announced they were leaving the HDZ and forming a new party, the Croatian
Democratic Centre (HDC). Granic and Skare-Ozbolt stressed they were leaving the HDZ "because the movement had never been transformed into a party". In their opinion, nowadays, the HDZ includes people whose political orientation is radical right wing.
