They thanked Croatia for support to bring the ongoing conflict and suffering in Libya to an end and to the establishment of the new government on democratic foundations.
By withdrawing hospitality to the former Charge d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Croatia, Abdulkarim Naas and by supporting the United Nations' Security Council's resolution 1970/2011 and 1973/2011, Croatia took first steps in isolation of the regime of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, the statement reads.
Croatia is willing to continue assisting in the democratic transition of Libya and in the establishment of democratic institutions in that north African country.
