During a mass celebrating St. Anthony's Day in Sijekovac, northern Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday, he said that the number of Croats had declined from 800,000 in 1991 to the present 460,000.
He said that these statistics were alarming.

Herzegovina, Archbishop Alessandro D'Errico, has warned that the
number of Catholic Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been
dramatically falling, and called for the trend to be reversed.
