of regional cooperation in the region to its east," Assistant
Foreign Minister Vladimir Drobnjak said ahead of a SEECP's summit.
The SEECP's third summit will gather in Bucharest on Saturday the

Macedonia, Greece, and Turkey, as well as representatives of
Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, both of which have observer
status.
Reminding that the SEECP was established in 1996 from a one-time
Balkan initiative, Drobnjak said Croatia was not interested in
being a full member "because we don't consider ourselves a Balkan
country."
