on Wednesday gave a vote of confidence in the Government headed by Prime Minister Ivica Racan and supported its programme for the next four years. Following the vote, Government members took oaths before parliamentary representatives. "We have done an important job, by giving the Government a vote of confidence we enabled it to fully contribute to Croatia's progress," said the President of the House of Representatives, Zlatko Tomcic, at the end of the first parliamentary session.
