ZAGREB, Feb 9 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic on Wednesday received notes of congratulations for his recent electoral victory from the presidents of Switzerland and Austria, and the head of a European parliamentary delegation
for relations with Southeast Europe. Swiss President Adolf Ogi extended congratulations and wishes for a successful performance of presidential duties, as well as wishes for the well-being of the Croatian people. Austrian President Thomas Klestil wrote in his letter he was sure the friendly relations and co-operation between the two countries would intensify to the benefit of both peoples. Doris Pack of the European Parliament extended her warmest congratulations on the electoral victory, and wrote she was sure Mesic would work towards the benefit and equal rights of all citizens, the strengthening of democracy and the rule-of-law, and Croatia's rapprochement with the
