A professor at Zagreb University's Law School, Josip Kregar, asserted that civil society had made a grand entrance in Croatia and raised political culture to a higher level. He maintained that the recent elections generally enabled younger people and fresh stands to come to the political scene. Voice 2000 announced that it would propose to Croatia's President- elect Stipe Mesic to continue holding talks with ordinary citizens in the theatre "Kerempuh" in Zagreb. (hina) ms
