ZAGREB, Feb 1 (Hina) - The German company 'Heidelberg cement' on Monday purchased 44,409 shares of the Pula-based 'Istra cement' factory on the Varazdin stock exchange, thus increasing its former share of 59.32 percent to 90.99
percent in Pula's cement plant. The whole transaction is worth almost 35 million kuna (DM8.7 million), a member of the 'Istra cement' management board Ingrid Kuzmanic said. Nothing will change in the factory's business and personnel policy with the increase of the ownership share of 'Heidelberg cement', Kuzmanic said. 'Heidelberg cement', which has been the majority owner of the Pula factory for two years, bought the shares from privatisation and investment funds which had acquired them through voucher privatisation.(hina) rml
