ZAGREB, Jan 25 (Hina) - After the announcement of first unofficial preliminary results of the Croatian presidential election, the candidate of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP), Ante Djapic, described such results as expected and
real. He voiced hope that in the coming two weeks until the run-off ballot Croatia's citizens would witness the genuine political game between the two top contestants. Commenting on his results at the election Djapic said they differed from his anticipation. He, however, managed to accomplish the main goal, which was to muster more ballots than all remaining candidates of the Croatian right together. This candidate, who expected to finish the electoral race on the fourth place, was the fifth with the 1,78 percent. "We are neither particularly satisfied nor particularly unsatisfied, as we achieved our fundamental goal at the parliamentary vote," the HSP leader said
