Pavletic made his decision following today's talks with the president of the Constitutional Court and a meeting with Premier Zlatko Matesa. About 40 letters of release, for which he has already issued orders, refer to the premier, ministers, deputy ministers, and state secretaries, he said. Pavletic told reporters letters of resignations were handed in by presidential advisers Ivic Pasalic and Markica Rebic, the president's chief-of-staff Ivica Kostovic, and the head of the Office for National Security, Ivan Jarnjak.
