THE HAGUE, Jan 11 (Hina) - The head of the Republika Srpska military's headquarters, General Momir Talic, and representative in the Republika Srpska parliament Radoslav Brdjanin said on Tuesday before the International Criminal
Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) they were not guilty as charged, namely genocide. The indictment of Brdjanin and Talic includes persecution, elimination, killings, tortures, deportation, and the destruction of property. They were on a sealed indictment, which was confirmed by the ICTY in March 1999. Brdjanin was arrested by the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) in July, 1999, and Talic was arrested by Austrian police while attending an Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) conference held in Vienna in August of 1999.
