ZAGREB, Dec 10 (Hina) - On the occasion of today's International Human Rights Day, a new association for the promotion and defence of the freedoms, rights and dignity of man and citizen, "Krijes", was founded several days ago. Its
registration is underway. Citing the Pope John Paul VIII's message to prince Domagoj, the oath from the crowning of Croatian King Zvonimir, the social teachings of the Catholic Church, the UN general declaration on the rights of man and the international pact on civil and political rights, Krijes believes that all people are born free and equal in dignity, freedoms and rights, the statement issued said.(hina) lml sb
