BELGRADE, Dec 1 (Hina) - The Yugoslav Defence Ministry on Saturday said in a statement it would cooperate with the the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) after the Yugoslav authorities passed "an
appropriate decision". The Defence Ministry said in the statement "it will try to contribute to the processing and the punishment" of every possible war crime, but primarily before domestic courts. The Ministry added it would try to protect the professional integrity of every former and current member of the army and the Yugoslav defence system. The ministry said it would do this primarily to "protect those who defended the country when it was attacked."(hina) it
