ZAGREB, Nov 26 (Hina) - The president of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Claude Jorda, in New York on Monday criticised the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Republika Srpska for refusing to
extradite persons indicted for war crimes committed in the former Yugoslavia. Jorda said that, owing to the introduction of ad litem judges who can preside only over one trial, six trials will be held simultaneously starting next year and all cases could be completed by 2007. In his speech the ICTY president called for a gradual shift of the work load from the international to national level. He also spoke about the establishment of a ICTY Bar Association by 2002.(hina) it
