PRISTINA, Nov 27 (Hina) - An international investigating judge in Kosovska Mitrovica has ruled a one-month detention for an officer of the Kosovo Protection Corps, on suspicion that he committed crimes after the 1999 war in Kosovo.
Gani Imeri, an officer of the former Kosovo Liberation Army, has been charged with kidnapping and attempted murder. He was arrested in Vucitrn on Saturday. The spokeswoman for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Florence Hartmann, told Pristina's daily in Albanian "Zeri" of Tuesday that the arrest of Imeri had not been made at the request of the Hague Tribunal.(hina) np sb
