ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - The opening of 231 Regos (central pension insurance registry) windows in 159 payment transaction bureaux all over Croatia on Thursday marked the start of registration into obligatory pension funds where people
will be investing five percent of their gross salaries. Solidarity is needed in Croatian society, but absolute solidarity is non-sustainable, so pension reform is an opportunity for citizens to assume the responsibility for insuring themselves for old age, Croatian Vice-Premier Zeljka Antunovic said at the opening.
