NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula and European External Affairs Commissioner Chris Patten held talks in New York on Monday. This was the first meeting of the two officials since Croatia has signed a
Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA). Picula and Patten discussed the issues of stability and peace in Southeast Europe. Patten expressed deep concern over a new wave of violence in Macedonia. The Commissioner also expressed interest in Croatia's views of the situation in Macedonia.
