MESIC AND PESIC DISCUSS CROATIAN-YUGOSLAV RELATIONS

WARSAW, Nov 6 (Hina) - The issue of missing persons, the restoration of historic and cultural treasure, the return of Serb refugees and interest for strengthening economic cooperation were the subject of talks between Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and Yugoslav Premier Dragisa Pesic in Warsaw Tuesday. The talks were held on the margins of the Central, Eastern and South-Eastern European conference on the fight against terrorism in Warsaw. "Mesic stressed the issues of missing persons and the restoration of cultural and historic treasure to Croatia, while our interest was the return of Serb refugees to Croatia," Pesic told reporters after the talks.
