ZAGREB, Nov 8 (Hina) - According to reports of postal centre managers, less than half of Croatian Post (HP) workers who arrived at work participated in Wednesday's strike. Of the total 9,493 postal workers who arrived at work, 4.377
were on strike, while 5,116 employees did not respond to the call for strike. During the one-day protest, more than a half post offices in the country functioned regularly. Of the total of 1,130 post offices, 697 were open, while 433 were closed. According to yesterday's estimates by two postal trade unions which organised the strike requesting an urgent signing of a collective agreement 83 percent of postal workers stood on strike.(hina) lml
