ZAGREB, Nov 6 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Tuesday he had held timely talks with President Stjepan Mesic on Mesic's visit to Israel, reiterating the visit was exceptionally important for Croatia and its government. "I
held timely talks with President Mesic about his visit, but the information about the talks, which was not released by me, is not fair. I can say that much, anything else is speculation and an attempt to foment conflicts," Racan told reporters when asked about the authenticity of claims made by a daily saying government officials had suggested Mesic not to travel to Israel. Racan has also called on reporters not to interpret his or his government's stands until he or the government do so. "That will reduce misunderstandings and possible unnecessary conflicts," Racan said.(hina) rml
