the government and its coalition partners, Tomcic said the HSS
would demand that Prime Minister Ivica Racan propose a government

dealing with strategic issues, Tomcic said.
The HSS also requests that the government draw up a complete
strategy of Croatia's development.
The party will urge its partners in the ruling coalition to consider
the functioning of the coalition and its internal relations. This
must be done not only because of the need to eliminate internal
strife but to strengthen the coalition's unity when it comes to
solving important political, economic and social issues, Tomcic
said.
Tomcic dismissed speculation on the HSS leaving the coalition,
saying such an option was out of the question.
