BELGRADE ATTACK UN ADMINISTRATOR HAEKKERUP BELGRADE, Oct 25 (Hina) - A group of protesters, members of the families of missing Serbs from Kosovo, on Thursday broke through a police cordon and started kicking and punching a vehicle
carrying the UNMIK civil administrator for Kosovo, Hans Haekkerup. The incident took place outside the Federal govedrnment buildingin Belgrade, immediately after Haekkerup entered the vehicle after talks he held with Yugoslav and Serbian officials. With the help of police and his personal security, Haekkerup managed to escape. The protesters then threatened to break down the front door and enter the building should Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica and president of the government Coordinator for Kosovo, Nebojsa Covic, refuse to receive them. Serb officials said a final decision on whether Serbs were to vote in Kosovo's general elections scheduled for November 17, would be reached after talks between Kostunica and Haekk
