ZAGREB, Oct 22 (Hina) - Pursuant to an agreement signed on Monday, Croatia will be receiving a loan worth 90 million euro from the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBRD) for the construction of a section of the Rijeka
- Zagreb highway. Croatian Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac on Monday also signed a state guarantee for the loan which will secure 50 percent of the total amount necessary for the construction of the 24.26 kilometres in question. The EBRD has granted the loan with an 18-year maturity with the Eribor interest rate plus one percent. The remaining half of the funds necessary to complete the section of the highway will reportedly be loaned by the European Investment Bank from Luxembourg.(hina) lml
