Bureau reported that the average net salary in August amounted to 3,412 kuna (USD416) and covered only 65.5 percent of living expenses. In the overall expenses, food comes first with 35.3 percent, 28.8 percent is spent for housing, 11.9 percent for clothing, 11.5 percent for education and culture, 7.9 percent for transport, and 4.5 percent for hygiene.
