ZAGREB, Oct 3 (Hina) - After more than two weeks of continual depreciation, the national currency, the kuna, on Wednesday appreciated in relation to the euro and the currencies of the Euro-zone countries by 0.07% as against Tuesday.
One euro was exchanged for 7.542951 kuna on Wednesday, while the mean exchange rate of the German mark was 3.856650 kuna. The exchange rate of the Austrian schilling was 0.548168 kuna, of the French franc 1.149915 kuna and the Italian lira 0.00389561 kuna. The value of the national currency increased in relation to all other monitored currencies as well. The US dollar dropped by 0.72% to 8.193516 kuna, and the British pound decreased by 1.28% to 12.043671 kuna. The Swiss franc dropped by 0.43% to 5.074986 kuna.(hina) rml
