government on Thursday appointed 16 of a total of 20 heads of county state administration offices, and bound the Justice Ministry to invite new bids for the remaining four vacancies for this position within the next 30 days. The vacancies refer to heads of state administration offices in the counties of Koprivnica-Krizevci, Lika-Senj, Virovitica-Podravina, and Sibenik-Knin. This is a new position in state administration. Persons assuming the office are appointed and relieved of duty by the government, at the proposal of the justice minister, and based on applications for the vacancies.
