entitlements Friday. The bills are to go into force on October 1. The package abolishes the right of employed mothers who have twins or three or more children to get three-year paid maternity leave. On the other hand, it introduces entitlements for unemployed mothers, students and undergraduates, who are to receive 900 kuna (112.5 dollars) per month in the first six months upon the birth of a child. The paid maternity leave for employed mothers will amount to their average monthly salary in the first six months upon delivery, but it will be no more than approximately 532 dollars per month.
