ZAGREB ZAGREB, Sept 23 (Hina) - The programme of the Economic Forum of the Central European Initiative (CEI), scheduled for 21-24 November in Trieste, was presented in the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) last Thursday. The forum,
which is to draw about 1,000 participants, is a good opportunity for Croatia to strengthen its business ties with other countries and CEI members. During the presentation in Zagreb, CEI Economic Forum was described also as a good framework for the enhancement of cooperation, and stimulation of development and investments in central European countries. Its basic purpose is to help countries in transition to become competitive with European Union member-states on markets. The Trieste event will gather CEI member countries' economy ministers and officials from their financial sectors. There will be representatives from international organisations as well.
