ZAGREB, Sept 20 (Hina) - The current situation in the world will not affect Croatia's bids to enter European integration processes in any segment, the Foreign Ministry has said, adding Croatia's moves thus far have been in compliance
with the European Union's joint declaration. According to a statement released on Thursday, Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic Kurelec received Belgian Ambassador to Croatia Luc Liebaut, who handed over a copy of the declaration which the heads of state and government of EU member-states, the European Parliament President, the European Commission President and the High Representative for joint foreign and security policy adopted on 14 September. The document most severely condemns perpetrators and organisers of terrorist attacks and calls on countries to intensify bids to counter terrorism. Ambassador Liebaut informed Cvjetkovic Kurelec of concrete
measures the EU was taking to heighten the security and safety of
international air traffic.
Croatia was asked to inspect possibilities for its cooperation with
the EU in providing security and safety.
