Thursday at the trial of four former Croatian police officers charged with the crime. A former deputy superintendent of the Bjelovar-Bilogora County police department, Luka Markesic, and special police unit members Zdenko Radic, Zoran Maras and Ivan Orlovic are suspected of executing six members of JNA reserve forces in a forest near Bjelovar in 1991, Savo Kovac being the only one to survive. Due to his poor mental condition, Kovac testified today in the presence of a psychiatrist. Investigating judge Ana Turek Novak today also heard the testimonies of Darko Prpic and Ivan Dolanjski, however, no information could be obtained on their or Kovac's testimonies. So far, seven hearings have been held in this trial, with 21 witness

A former deputy superintendent of the Bjelovar-Bilogora County

probe into the crime should be completed tomorrow.
