ZAGREB, Sept 7 (Hina) - In a phone interview with Hina on Friday evening, a spokeswoman for the international war crimes tribunal for former Yugoslavia in The Hague (ICTY) denied having made any statement on the tribunal investigating
the "Mostar case". Earlier in the day, Hina carried a report by the Agence France-Presse saying ICTY spokeswoman Florence Hartmann said in Mostar an intensive probe was underway into the role of Croats from Bosnia and Croatia in the Mostar area during the war in the country. Hartmann said she did not give any statement regarding the Mostar investigation nor did she speak with an AFP reporter. Asked directly about the Mostar investigation, Hartmann said she could not comment on whether the Tribunal's prosecution was conducting an investigation in Mostar.
