ZAGREB, Sept 6 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Thursday the bill on defence could be forwarded into parliamentary procedure in a week or two. I believe the bill will be included in the agenda of the autumn parliament
session, Racan said at the beginning of today's government session. All open problems and questions regarding the defence bill have been solved, Racan told government members speaking about his meeting with President Stjepan Mesic, held yesterday. The bill on defence needs only to be nomotechnically fine-tuned, Racan said. The Croatian government will today define ten other bills operationalising the social policy for this and next year. The parliamentary agenda also includes a proposal for the parliament to consider information on relations between Croatia and Slovenia and an agreement on the state border.(hina) rml
