DUBROVNIK, Sept 4 (Hina) - The Second European-American congress of applied molecular diagnostics in clinical forensic medicine began in the southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik on Tuesday. According to the U.S. Science magazine, this is one of this year's most important scientific conferences. Closing on Sept. 14, the congress will focus on forensic medicine and human research. The event has pooled more than 400 experts, including the world's leading names in clinical and forensic genetics, from 51 countries. They will present the latest achievements in the application of DNA analysis. The participants were welcomed by Croatia's Health Minister Ana Stavljenic-Rukavina and Supreme Court president Ivica Crnic, and the United States Ambassador to Croatia, Lawrence Rossin, among others.
