SPLIT SERB ORTHODOX CHURCH CONSECRATED SPLIT, Sept 2 (Hina) - The renovated chapel of the Serb Orthodox Church of St. Sava in Split was consecrated on Sunday in the presence of some 200 believers. The chapel, renovated for the first
time since 1937, was consecrated by Dalmatia episcope Fotije, who conducted a religious service. The event was attended, among others, by representatives of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, a Croatian Serb leader Milorad Pupovac, and Father Ivan Cubelic of the Split-Makarska archdiocese. Cubelic stressed the archdiocese was ready to help its brethren in Christ, "rising above ethnic differences."(hina) rml
