SPLIT SPLIT, Aug 27 (Hina) - The Centre for the Development of Democracy (CERD) informed the media on Monday that Ustasha symbols and a black-sprayed message saying "U, NDH - Serbs Get Out of Croatia", appeared on the entrance to a
Serb Orthodox church in the southern city of Split. Serb Orthodox believers in Split say the message is connected to the upcoming opening of an Orthodox chapel, reconstructed after 65 years, to take place on Sunday, September 2. About 1,500 believers and guests are expected to attend the opening ceremony. CERD claims the latest provocation may be an introduction into nationalist excesses similar to those in the 1990s.
