MOSTAR, Aug 17 (Hina) - Unidentified perpetrators set on fire the door to a parish church in downtown Zenica, central Bosnia, on the night between Thursday and Friday. The fire was spotted by a guard from a nearby Catholic school
centre who called fire-fighters and police, the Catholic press agency KTA reported on Friday. The fire burnt the door to the church and damaged its facade. The police have established the door had been splashed with an inflammable liquid. Parish priest Ilija Puskaric said a couple of months ago an unidentified person burnt a Bible in front of the church. The agency also reports that visitors at a graveyard at the Zenica suburb of Podbrijezje yesterday noticed that the bell from the graveyard chapel had been stolen.(hina) rml
