PRISTINA, Aug 24 (Hina) - International peacekeepers in Kosovo (KFOR) arrested 10 persons who illegally crossed the Macedonian-Kosovo border and confiscated weapons and ammunition during a search operation in three villages in the
field of responsibility of the multinational brigade East, KFOR sources reported on in Pristina on Friday. Eight persons were arrested in the village of Mahala e Muqajve, near the Macedonian border and equipment for communication was discovered on them, KFOR spokesman Howard Rhoades. The arrested persons were taken to a prison in the United States military camp, Bondsteel, near Urosevac. Members of the multinational brigade South arrested two persons who tried to illegally cross the border, the spokesman added.
