ZAGREB, Aug 23 (Hina) - Persons aged between 25 and 49 account for the largest part of all employed persons in Croatia - 68.3%, whereas in European Union countries they account for 67.1% of all workers, according to a National Bureau
of Statistics poll on labour. A comparison of data from Croatia in the second half of last year and the average EU employment structure in 1999 shows that the EU has a slightly higher share (2.6%) of young people in the number of employed persons. Persons aged between 15 and 24 account for 8.8% of all employed in Croatia while their average share in EU countries is 11.4%.
