SPLIT, Aug 17 (Hina) - The head of the European Parliament's delegation for South-East Europe, Doris Pack, said during a meeting with Split Mayor Ivan Skaric on Friday she could understand Croats and their feelings because the victim
and the aggressor in the region were being equated. However, she said, it seems things have started happening and those who committed crimes will pay, which will make Croats feel better, Pack said, adding she expected Serbia to hand over to the Hague tribunal Yugoslav Army general Veselin Sljivancanin and Bosnian Serb military leader Ratko Mladic. After 1995, the West stopped thinking about Karadzic and Mladic, Pack said, adding if the West wanted Croatia to cooperate, it had to do its share as well. During the visit to Split, Pack held a seminar on Croatia in European integration processes.(hina) rml
