WASHINGTON, Aug 15 (Hina) - Croatia's Chief State Prosecutor Radovan Ortynski and his deputy Dragan Novosel on Tuesday wrapped up their four-day-long visit to Washington where they held talks with senior American judicial and police
officials. Their interlocutors acquainted them with American experience in the prevention of organised crime and corruption. Prior to their arrival in Washington, the two Croatian officials took part in an international conference on organised crime, cyber crime, smuggling of narcotics, trafficking in humans and money laundering, which was held in Chicago. Until next Saturday Ortynski and Novosel will tour the U.S. centre for the training of state prosecutors in Columbia, South Carolina. Ortynski said the American experience would help Croatian experts and relevant factors to enforce the state prosecution law and expedite investigations and pending court cases.(hina) ms
