PULA/CAKOVEC, Aug 5 (Hina) - Some 21,000 tourists, mostly Italians, Slovenes, Austrians, and Germans, entered Croatia across the three main border crossings in Istria County in the last 24 hours, local police said at noon on Sunday.
Over the same period of time, more than 42,700 foreign tourists entered the country at the northern crossing at Gorican, which is 11,000 more than last weekend. More than 12,500 foreigners entered via the Mursko Sredisce, also in the north. These two crossings are mainly used by tourists from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and Belarus.(hina) ha
