ZAGREB, July 31 (Hina) - Early this week, 492,337 tourists were registered along the Adriatic coast, namely 7 percent more than in the same period in 2000. Of this number, 87 percent are foreigners. According to the Croatian Tourism
Association, 430,134 tourists were registered on the Adriatic coast on July 30, namely 8 percent more than last year. The number of domestic tourists, however, dropped by three percent in relation to the year before, the Croatian Tourism Association reported. The number of tourists vacationing in Istria amounts to 62,203 or three percent more than in 2000, while 126,345 tourists were registered in Kvarner or four percent more. According to Association's data, 194,572 tourists are registered in Dalmatia, namely 12 percent more than in 2000. The majority of tourists are vacationing in Split-Dalmatia County, 72,137 or 11 percent more. Zadar County follows
