CRES, July 28 (Hina) - Asked by reporters about the latest two indictments the UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague filed against two Croatian generals, President Stipe Mesic said on Saturday he usually did not comment on indictments
as they mean nothing until a defendant's guilt is proven. Mesic talked to members of the press during a visit to Cres island in the northern Adriatic. The Hague tribunal earlier this week disclosed two indictments against Ante Gotovina and Rahim Ademi, charging them with crimes against humanity and violations of the laws and customs of war.
