ZAGREB, July 27 (Hina) - Sabor Speaker Zlatko Tomcic has said that at present the recently initialled border agreement between Croatia and Slovenia does not enjoy the support of two thirds of members of the Croatian parliament, which
is necessary for the ratification of the deal. Intensive talks with parliamentary parties, however, are under way about the importance of the ratification of this treaty, Tomcic was quoted by the Croatian Television as saying on Friday night. He added that during these intensive talks the mood was being changed in favour of the agreement. Asked whether he himself would vote for this agreement, Tomcic replied that he had some reservations and wanted to see some things in detail, but in principle he would be for it.(hina) ms
