ZAGREB, July 20 (Hina) - Commissioner for Croatia's borders Olga Kresovic Rogulja and Slovene counterpart Miha Pogacnik on Friday in Slovene's Otocec na Krki initialled an agreement on borders between the two countries, sources close
to the Croatian delegation told Hina. Croatian and Slovene Prime Minister Ivica Racan and Janez Drnovsek on Thursday announced the agreement would be initialled, which was confirmed by both governments. Racan said on Thursday the Croatian government decided to sign the agreement and then to forward it to the parliament to be ratified, "should the agreement even reach that phase." Racan said the agreement included Slovenia's exit to open sea through Croatia's territorial waters near Piran Bay, adding this would solve some open issues regarding the border.(hina) it
