BOSNIAN CROATS SETTLERS PRESENT THEIR PROGRAMME IN VOJNIC

VOJNIC VOJNIC, July 15 (Hina) - The association of organisations of Bosnian Croat settlers (ZUNH) on Sunday introduced its programme to over 300 Croats from the central Croatian municipality of Vojnic. The programme aims at including Vojnic municipality Croats in the association. "Because of the conditions we live in, often unemployed, without earnings and living in somebody elses' houses, we can be easily manipulated. This would be harder if we join hands", Tomo Aracic, president of the association said. He stressed the association could be a partner to both the government and international organisations in the solving of numerous issues. The population of the Vojnic municipality is about 6,000, including 2,100 Croats from the north-western Bosnia, 1,300 Bosniaks and 2,600 Serbs who left Croatia after the Croatian military and police operation of "Storm" and then returned.
