ZAGREB, July 13 (Hina) - Only ten minutes after it started on Friday afternoon, the Sabor's session behind closed doors at which MPs should discuss the relations with the UN war crime court was discontinued at the request of the bench
of the strongest opposition party (HDZ). The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) did not agree with a proposal of MPs from the ranks of the ruling coalition that the discussion on the relations between Zagreb and the ICTY should be held together with a discussion on a confidence in the incumbent Government - the motion put on the agenda at the request of Prime Minister Ivica Racan. It is unacceptable, and the last straw was the proposal that these two topic be tackled during one discussion on Sunday, HDZ President Ivo Sanader said. Today's parliamentary discussion has so far been delayed a few times, and the latest break is likely to take one hour.(hina) ms
