SKOPLJE, July 6 (Hina) - The ceasefire which went into force in Macedonia at midnight on Thursday was observed on Friday, Macedonian Army spokesman Blagoja Markovski said. "Today's situation gives hope that we are getting closer to
peace and that we will be able to solve problems from the past five months in a relaxed atmosphere," Markovski said. The Macedonian Interior Ministry said in a statement that the blockade on the road Tetovo-Jazince was lifted today, however, it also reported movements of groups wearing black uniforms in several Albanian-populated villages of Tetovo municipality. European Union's and USA's special representatives Francois Leotard and James Pardew said the expert group in charge of drawing up a draft on constitutional changes was completing its work.
